Oven won't last

Bought this range in 2020 and by the 3rd year we started noticing some issues. The oven door is flimsy and poorly made and allows for excessive heat to escape from the top and sides of door. This resulting in damage to the control knobs (I see another reviewer below had the same issue) and also damage to the kitchen cabinet next to the left side of the oven door. This is a huge design flaw. Next issue was with the oven ignition. Hot surface ignitor comes on but over burner will not light until one of the top burners are turned on. This required us to have a top burner on whenever we use the oven. I would not recommend this oven at all. It will not last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect size

Big feeling in a smaller range

We are enjoying our new range very much. We love the convection oven, and the way it heats evenly. The cast iron burners are also a plus. The controls are very easy to read and have a sturdy positive feel. Even though we needed a small size range,(24") The quality and finnish makes this a welcome compliment to our home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Design flaw maybe, I do like the stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the door switch spring is to strong as my door wouldn't close snugly against the door gasket.
This allowed heat to inefficiently run up and out the front, melting the knob paint, making the knobs slip, overheating clock panel, and heat-scorching some cabinet front sides.
Had a gentler shorter switch put in, snug door oven works better than new.

Disappointed in Oven Functioning

There isn’t an oven controller that shows off. The light for preheating comes in when there isn’t temp set for it to come on. The broiler is electric instead of gas and dies not cook evenly. Disappointed in the product given the extremely high price.
