Beautiful color and well built!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this sitting for a year and a half because it was just too pretty to use. My husband finally said I should start using it, so I did. My second time using it, it just stopped. It didn't get hot or smelled funny, it just stopped. I called customer service, but they said its only a one year warranty. I'm so sad. This is by far my favorite looking mixer, so now it sits in my hutch just looking pretty. Pretty bummed out that I spent so much on it and it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few months ago, and for someone who loves baking, having both the dough hook and the standard whisk has been wonderful. They work well and I can finally make actual whipped cream having a good mixer again.

Always wanted a KitchenAid mixer. Lucked out that I finally pulled the trigger when the limited edition is still in stock. Made a layered cake for the first time. Coconut Cream Cake came out wonderful and tasted great as well (so I'm told). Next-up...carrot cake. Thanks KitchenAid! The 100th anniversary limited edition performs as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer was a Christmas gift to replace my 30 year old Kitchenaid. When making cookies I always make a double batch! Pizza dough is perfectly kneaded! The beautiful retro color pale blue- which my husband knew was just right for me. The hundredth anniversary engraving makes it even more special.
