Love this printer. It s a lot better then HP.and hope it last longer then 3yrs .I only used HP and they only last 3-4 yes. So I hope Brothers last longer.

Feature rich printer

I have been using Canon printers in my home office for years, but the durability and quality has steadily decreased. When my most recent printer died, I did a lot of research of other brands for product quality, print quality and features. Hardest evaluation was checking print quality because big box stores don’t have the shelf space to showcase every printer. Feature wise, the MFC-J5945DW is the absolute winner with borderless printing, duplex/single-pass scanning and faxing, oversized paper handling and multiple paper trays. After a lot of searching, I located a store with an in-service demo printer. Color and black printing is sharp and crisp, even on standard copy machine paper, and is exceptional on higher quality paper. The only negative is the cost of ink refill tanks, and the lack of user-refillable tanks which are available for most of the competitive printers. The features of this printer won over the ink refill shortfall.

I really like this All-In-! printer

I've used HP and Epson All-in-1 printers for years. Sadly, I've run into issues with their solutions that made using them any longer problematic. With the MFC-J5945DW, it's been great! The only issue I've run into has been trying to get it to automatically accept faxes. The printer software only allows 4 rings before the fax will answer. I need it to support 6-7 rings because anything less interferes with my answering machine. As such, I had to default incoming faxes to manual mode.
Even with that limitation, I love this printer.

So far really enjoy the printer. Was easy to set up. We have only been using for about 4 weeks. We have always use HP printer. So far I would recommend.

This brother is the best i have bought and used. I am already sold on brother equipment for ease of setup, use, cost and even initial cost. Buy it, use it and you never go anywhere else.

Fast, reliable, print projects are clear, almost laser quality. Ink cartridges are higher $$ than last Brother MFC but looks like the ink lasts longer than other machine so cost is likely the same to operate. No complaints after two months of daily use and hundreds of pages.
