Love Features and economic ink tanks

I bought this model because it features 2-sided copy, scanning and faxing that works! It saves paper and creates an easy way to handle data and records. My paper and ink costs have improved compared to previous printers I have bought in the past. I love the machine and Brother support has been outstanding.

Fast and efficient

I was a bit hesitant to spend a lot of money on a printer. I had rad many good reviews on Brother and decided to give it a go. Setup was very easy to follow by using the suggested videos. On my first usage, I was impressed. This machine is a keeper! I printed a 400 page book in a very short time and each page was perfect. No blurring or smearing. It is reasonably quiet. Connecting to my devices was easy too! I can print from my tablets, laptops, and phones with no lag time. It was definitely worth the money.

More features than the MFC-J5920 it replaces

I have only had the MFC-J5945 for a couple of week. It is a very professional printer to use. I very much appreciate the 2 sided one pass scanning feature. It simplifies the document handling.

MFC-J5945DW is the absolute worst printer!

I really did not want to move to a ink jet from a laser printer but based upon reviews went ahead. My mistake. This think jams all the time and I have wasted virtually all of the supplied ink on clearing jams and cleaning the "jets". If Brother does not replace ALL of the originally supplied four ink cartridges, I will return or junk this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
