Great printer. Mostly purchased it for duplex scanning and it does a great job of that. Bonus is the economical printing features. Excellent home office printer! Great value.

Fast, and reliable

Brother MFC's never disappoint. I've been a long time customer and after purchasing two of these for the office I purchased another for the home. It just works every time and our entire family now can print directly from their devices which saves me from having to do it for them. It seems to sip ink and blast out copies so quickly. The software suite works flawlessly for scanning and I always know I can rely on a quality result.

Not your MFC 6400 series

I had to wait for 6 months due to COVID supply chain issues, I love Brother printers my last MFC printer lasted 10 years. But this particular model has had a document feed issue sense day one, and the scan feature is problematic. The copy features are above average and the second tray can be used for 11x17 paper.

Not worth it for the cost of the printer. & ink

Often prints multiple blank sheets of paper with the copy you are trying to print. Very slow to respond to your computer’s request to print something.

Printing remotely isn't always possible.

Sometimes the printing capabilities with the wifi are intermittent. For example, sometimes I can print directly from my cellphone and some days I can't. It doesn't matter if I turn off the printer or reset my mobile device the wifi capabilities just don't want to work.
But overall, I'm very pleased with this printer. Much better than a Hewlett-Packard or a Canon - both of which I've owned and both of which have left me greatly disappointed.

Homeschool use

This printer is really a great all in one printer. Im a homeschooling mom that does alot pf printing. I also print art prints for picture studies. The quality isnt as grest as a laser printer but its definitely still very clear. It prints fast, very user friendly and also super cost effective to print. All around a great printer!

The worst printer

Well the ink gets sweeped every week. Its says something is jammed in the machine every now and then. The worst printer i ever bought. Ink nozzles need cleaning every second day which again consumes ink.
