Great Machine

This is my second brother printer and it meets all my specification. Has all the feature I wanted for a good price. Cost per copy is very reasonable both black and color. Copy and scan both sides feature reduces time and handling. One year ink supply is a big plus.

Versatile and fast.

This printer has all the features we need and is very fast. The USB and WiFi connections work well, however we found that if a tower computer does not have WiFi, we cannot use a ganged USB device to connect more than one tower.

This printer is EVERYTHING my small business needs! Love that it is compact, holds lots of paper in TWO trays. Prints, copies and scans two sided! That is the best. Oh and its FAST and QUIET and holds a lot of ink. What more could you ask of a printer for such a great price?

Needed a printer for printing 11" X 17" drawings, wish it also would scan 11" X 17" for my use. But it is a very nice printer and works extremely well.

Fast and Full of Options

The MFC-J5945DW is incredibly fast and gives you crisp, clear printouts. The paper trays and ink are very accessible and easy to load. The rear paper feed is versatile for envelopes and such, however, the menus don't always provide enough information to select the proper paper or envelope size. The only criticism I would have is using the FAX feature and figuring out the sequence of sending and receiving via the menus and front panel are confusing at first. Make sure you download ALL the software during installation.

From the time I hit the print button, it prints faster than my old printer. Almost instantaneously. I love the double sided scanning because it saves me a lot of time. I don't have to manually feed it like the old printer.
