Welcome Addition

Our previous printer was compact and gave satisfactory service until the manufacturer fell on hard times and failed to keep up with recent changes in operating systems. Our new Brother printer works like a dream and has given us not one stitch of trouble!

fax will not tell you when it has been sent

had a problem when we set it up. All calls went to fax if not picked up by 3rd ring.. Had to try several things before it worked right. Like spend of colors of printed items

Excellent high quality printer

We bought this printer to replace a slightly different model Brother printer. We have had really good success with it for the past month that we've had it. Printing is great quality, fast and efficient. It holds a large volume of ink at one time. We have not had a single paper jam or error yet, which is a big relief. We use it primarily for scanning and printing, both color and B&W, as well as making photocopies. I recommend the Brother brand wholeheartedly, and this model is excellent.

Scanning Mode Excellent

I was especially interested in the scanning and a compartment that was wide to accommodate several documents. Most of the competitors were narrow and would not allow me to send documents for business purposes. I also am enjoying the fax and copy modes.

Of the 50 or so copies that I've made with the printer in the two or three weeks that I've had it, it has been working just fine. No problems.

compact copier

I am very happy with the copier, but I have one big issue and that is, I almost always print black and white and don't want to spend a lot of money to buy color ink cartridges, since the copier gives me the option of printing black and white please tell me how I can do that? I had one similar copier and it did not work.
