I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I was VERY impressed with the Brother InkJet printer. This solves my problem from having to go to the FedEx/Kinkos down the street whenever I needed to make some copies. (which is often) The printer is very compact and light when I needed to move it. The ease/size of the cartridges were also a plus and I love the touchscreen option on the display. The wifi option & print from the cellular device is a huge plus as well. I tried a few different options of color printing and they all came out exceptionally well. I really don`t have anything negative to say about it. I worked in a mailroom/purchasing department for many years and this is BY FAR the best printer i`ve come across. I don`t do too much faxing but if I ever need to I have a one stop shop. An outstanding piece of equipment. I thought printers may be extinct by now with the way technology moves so quickly but this is a piece of art.

The reproduction clarity is perfect.It is fast for a desk top printer. I also love the fact that there is enough ink for two years worth of printing.My husband and my daughter both work from home every once in awhile so they have been able to also use the printer while they are working at home. Both of their laptops were able to sync up and print documents from their laptops.I am super happy with ink jet printer/copier with and will highly recommend the printer to anyone looking for their office or home.

Home office testing of Brother MFC

OUT OF THE BOX: This is a workhorse of a printer. It holds a large amount of ink compared with other home office printers I`ve used in the past, prints extremely quickly including double sides pages, and has an intuitive, easy to use touch screen. Setting up the WIFI connection was easy and worked the first time (which isn`t always the case for me because of a few particulars about my WIFI situation). Inc cartridges are extremely easy to install. No need to break a cap off the ink container, they just click right into place. The printer was easy to set up out of the box without looking at the instructions. SPEED: This printer pumps out pages extremely quickly. The default setting is a lower-print quality for efficiency, which is great for most printing, besides presentations or photos. I like that because it uses ink conservatively by default, and just switches to higher ink usage when needed. Also by default, the printer is very quick. It does make some noice but it only lasts a second or two per page. You can choose a lower noise setting but it slows the speed a little so I preferred the default since the things I print usually have 20+ pages and the high speed is helpful.FUNCTIONALITY: This printer has all the features I`d expect to ever need in a home office, including: double sided printing; large-size flatbed scanner; multiple printer trays; paper feed tray for multiple-page scanning/copying; easy to use and large capacity internal paper tray; well-organzied, out of the way routed slots for wires connecting to different phones, computers, etc.COULD BE IMPROVED: A few surprises about this printer were that it had slightly wider margins of white areas bordering the page than some printers I`ve used, so I had to make sure to click "fit to page" in the print settings when I was printing powerpoints, otherwise the edges were cut off. I don`t know how this compares to other current comparable printers, but worth noting.Though the printer came with several cords, it didn`t seem to come with the standard USB-printer connection so I needed to use one I had in the house. The good news is that you probably already have one if you`ve ever before had a printer that you had to connect to the computer directly. OVERALL IMPRESSION: My overall impression is that this is a great quality printer: extremely versatile, efficient, capable, quick, and long-lasting. This has been a great addition to my home office!

Great design and easy to set up. Very quiet and efficient. The screen is easy to see and navigate, the sideways tray keeps it compact. The scanner works very well and has great resolution. This is a great printer, fast with multiple feed paths and functionality. After having multiple Epsons, HPs and others, Brother finally got it right.

Brother Investment Tank all-in-one printer

This printer is on the heavier side but I was able to lift it on my own. To be safe I`d suggest 2 people move it. It was very easy to set the printer up as well as link it to my computer. The instructions are understandable and clear. I use my printer for my small home businesses as well as for personal and church things. I do really like this printer a lot more than the printer I currently have as it prints more quickly. I really like that I can print double sided papers all in one action instead of having to print one side and then put that paper back into the printer to print the other side. When scanning, you just scan one side, flip and scan the other, then it prints on both sides which is awesome. I also love the fact that I can print things directly from my phone and that it has a flash drive port directly on the printer. Scanning is very smooth and easy. I do really like that I have the ability to print various sizes of documents and not just the standard 8.5``x11`` paper. This printer has proven to be a high quality printer and made very well. I do really like the option they have of automatically sending more ink in the mail. The one thing I do wish though is that the ink life lasted longer. 2 years instead of 1. 1 year for 300 pages a month is a great time length to have considering my other printer I had to buy ink every few month, so money-wise this ink is a good price. But with my smaller businesses and personal stuff, some months I print lots of pages and some months I don`t and it would be nice to have a little longer ink shelf life instead of needing to throw the ink away if I haven`t finished it yet when the year is up. Overall this is a great printer. It has so many nice features and has been a great edition to my office. I would recommend getting this printer and have told my family about all its great features.

A printer for all your office/home needs

Item: Brother Inkjet Printer - model MFC-J6545 DW I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Brother brand printer does everything I need for my home office. The actual printer is a bit bulky for a small office but I looked past it because of its great quality and convenience of having all your needed functions in one machine. Print function: the print functions are great! Great quality. I can print every size I need for my business needs. It includes double sided printing as well without having to manually reload the paper. Software: the software is easy to install. A great option they have is wireless compatibility. I was able to download an app (android and Apple) and function the computer from other area of my home. The app even tells you when your software needs to be updated which is a great feature. Scan function: the scanner on this printer has nice resolution. Scanning color images resulted in crystal clear scans. Again, I was able to scan directly to my phone so I could include images in emails and messages without having to bring out my laptop. Fax function: Easy to use and without any issues. Overall, I liked this printer. All functions worked as you would expect them to. Convenience of having the wireless app is great to have. Ran into no issues with use or set up. Quality of scans and prints were perfect.

Exceeded Expectations

This printer was extremely easy to set up, and has been very easy to use. The installation was complete very quickly, and with relatively few steps. I didn`t have to trouble shoot, it worked from the very start. Since I am using the printer wirelessly, I was nervous about whether it would work right away, but I`ve had no problems. The installation prompts and directions were easy to follow.The speed of printing pages has been extremely quick, but I must admit that I haven`t had to print any extremely detailed pages yet.The only drawback to the printer is the size and weight of it. It is fairly heavy, but its size is what makes it the most cumbersome. It is bigger than I was hoping for, and needs a decent size table underneath it. I would recommend it for home-based businesses, but not necessarily for those people who are casual printers.

I received the printer about three weeks ago. My first impression it was very big but easy to set up. The set up time took about 15 minutes. I love the printer but I wished it printed well on all types of paper not just a certain type.I like how I can reorder ink off the printer and how it comes with a year supply of ink. I use the airdrop mode to print jobs. Most jobs print within a few seconds. Some times the printing job does not go through.Overall, I am satisfied with the product.
