Fast Printing, Good Color, and easy to install.

Everything worked as advertised. WiFi connected to mobile devices and prints properly. I have not had it long enough to gauge ink usage, but I am very pleased with this unit.

Beyond expectations

We have forever bought and used HP printers. Our new Brother printer is faster, prints clearer and easy, uncomplicated features. Simply, dollar for dollar, Brother printers are better than HP.

Better than expected printer!

In the past I only owned Canon printers. I got fed up with their unreliability and poor print quality. I bought this Brother printer due to the great reviews. I’m very happy with this Brother printer. Works wonderfully well and the print quality is beautiful.

it behaves erratically on paper orientation

i still have not been able to get it to print envelopes correctly. the printer sometimes prints copies in landscape and sometimes in portrait regardless of how you place the original. instructions in the online guide are not adequate to explain paper handling and orientations. overall, it is a difficult printer to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brother is great!

I accidently let my old printer fall from a temporary placement. It didn't make any sense to do a repair. So I had to purchase a new one. This one is basically the same one I lost. The MFC-J6545DW is a terrific unit. I had to switch to new ink, but it looks like these cartridges are bigger. So far everything is working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use this for business and personal. I had a smaller version prior and loved it so it really was a no-brainer to go this one this time. Easy to use. Can use from my phone!

Scanning features lacking

Pretty decent machine for the price. The large space is the main reason I bought this machine and knew of the limitations. I needed a scanner in this price range for an emergency and had to settle for this one. Some downsides
No double-sided ADF scanning
While it touts to be able to scan 11x17 getting it to do so (finding the right settings) is nearly impossible
There are 3 scanning programs to scan from your computer. None of them are perfect, each one has features/uses the others do not so depending on my requirement I use all 3

Simple and efficient

We really needed an affordable multi function copier that has the latest wireless capabilities and this machine fills all of our needs. We were able to get everyone connected to it easily. It's friendly to use. It is also compact and quiet. The two year supply of ink is a great bonus.
