Works perfect

This is the second one of these I have purchased and after several years, the first one is still working perfectly. We have printed many thousands of pages and use the scanner regularly. We use the larger paper size and the automatic feeds and have no problems. It was the larger ink cartridges that sold us in the first place, but it is the quality that keeps us going.

Long lasting ink cartridges.

I purchased a Brother printer that said that it had enough ink to last one year. I looked and looked for the extra cartridges that I assumed must be in the box to make such a claim. That purchase was two years ago and I still have enough ink to last another 800 pages. I was so impressed that when our church needed another printer it was a no brainer to get another high yield Brother printer. Very pleased with these printers.

Great Multifunction machine, fast and reliable

I am extremely satisfied with this high-capacity machine, though at first I couldn't get it to print or scan over my Wi-Fi network from my MacBook Pro. This problem was solved by downloading Brother iPrint and Scan and it now works perfectly.

Large, but flexible

I like the printer. It offers economical ink use, large format printing, duplex operation. It feels sturdier than a Brother printer I had about six years ago. Quiet, and it just works. I have not tried to print photos, but the image quality on embedded graphics using regular paper is good, although slightly washed.
I have a hardwired Ethernet connection. My laptop and phones reliably find it.
It is early days, but initial experience has been good. Hopefully brother remind me to do an update a year from now.

When I was in Architecture school the computer lab had one of these printers and it was so easy and handy to present my projects A3 size which is half scale of the an 24x36. Now that I have my design studio this printer is a must and does the job really well.
