When I load my documents on the top to print copies it leaves a black line from top to bottom. My printer is brand new!

I find the Brother MFC-J5845DW a good product for the most part. It copies well. The scanning function works well but sometimes you have to wait and press scan a second time before the function starts. I also find the paper tray a bit inconvenient to get paper in and out. Too many plastic tray pieces/ cover. Otherwise a pretty dependable printer.

Endurance is the key!

To be honest I overbought on this copier just for home use. However the printer was easy to install and get up to speed. The copies are very clear and the speed is very good. I hope this will be our last printer purchase as we are both in our sixties. Ink purchases are expensive no matter what you buy but I do like the automatic feature ink purchasing that comes with you product. I’m sure you seek to steer costumers away from buying generic products. Thanks!

The hook up and programming was easy but it did take longer than my previous cannon did . It also requires me to turn it on it does not boot up and I boot up my computer . That isn't a big deal but does gt annoying some times. Performance wise it is fast and reliable .
