Great Features

This printer is everything I need in a multi-functional printer and each feature works flawlessly. It's fast and quiet and is very user-friendly. It is larger than I expected so I had to re-arrange things to find a place where it would fit. My fault for not looking at the specs. But it was worth the effort. I don't know if I would have been happy with the smaller model MFC-J995DW because it lacks some of the features of this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this printer to replace an aging printer from another company. New Brother printer was easy to set up in a wireless manner to my Mac Mini, 2 iPhones and 2 iPads via a Netgear router. Printing is very fast. Colors are crisp and clear. Ink supply is impressive and easy to access and replace. Paper loading and handling is easy. Online reviews of this product were correct in their praise for this machine. Printer is used mainly for home use and neighborhood committee volunteer work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

machine works great no problems at all color is good size is good noise level is good takes up a good bit of space color doesnt show dust
that is really all i have to say works good when i need it to which is why i bought it understand the ink usage is great but havent had it long enough to confirm that

Downloaded drivers for XP and all I can do is print a test page. Works fine with my laptop windows 10/

Lots of features, persnickety, bleh documentation

It is a very capable machine. Some internal paper-feed piece broke after about 2 months and Brother replaced the whole machine. But I frequently have minor issus that I can't quite figure out without digging into the downloaded manual; the help on the tiny screen is poor.
I would recommend this to a friend!
