Easy to use

It was easy to set up. So far everything is working fine except for color printing. Color printing is spotty, black ink printing is fine. I've tried cleaning the color cartridges and reprinting but the same is happening. I gave up. I don't really need that much color printing. I've been printing only in black. Everything else is working fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only used my machine for 2 months and am already out of black ink. Very disappointed. Not at all as advertised, which was why I decided to purchase a Brother product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Machine

Our previous Brother was a good machine but this one is even better. It responds rapidly to your print request. It is almost as though it is done printing before you request it! It also works well with smart phones and tablets.

Love the Unit!

We have really enjoyed the printer. It was very easy to set up and begin using. It seems to be quite economic in its use of the color inks, much more so than an earlier HP and the Epson I just replaced. Good, fast printing, too. Some of the control options on the touch pad could be easier to find and use, though, such as switching between the paper trays and the selections of paper types, enlarging or shrinking images. The scanner utilility is great and easy to use. Wonderful scans, also. Overall, I am now a Brother fan!

This is by far the best printer I have ever used. It has everything I need and then some. A lot of the features are so easy to use that I was able to print as soon as I set it up. If there is any down side, it is that I have problems printing using different size paper. But I believe that is my fault, as I have not used the instructions when I really should have. As far as I am concerned, it definitely rates 5 stars!
