[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always works on my WIFI network. I can print from my ipad, p phone, or desktop. Love try the scan and fax feature as well. The large ink cartridges last a long time.

Great color multi-function printer/scanner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine so I wouldn't have to replace ink cartridges so often. I use the 2-sided printing feature at least twice a week. Scanning documents is so hassle-free!

I like the features and versatility of this machine. Unfortunately, it does not scan dual-sided, which I didn't realize when I bought it. Other than that, all has worked out well.

Printer ink tubes/print head gets clogged

After talking with Brother tech people we have the impression that the new combo printer we originally bought is not appropriate for home owner with occasional use. Instead it is designed for heavy office use. Our experience has been to use printer maybe a few times one day and then several days pass before we use it again. Consequently something about the ink tubes and/or print head gets clogged with dry? ink and eventually the printer will not print properly. No amount of going through the Brother cleaning print head procedures fixes the problem. The replacement printer we recently received from Brother currently works fine, like the original printer functioned when new. In order to minimize the above issue, we now turn off the printer whenever not in use. Hopefully that will prevent the printer from developing the same problems as the original printer. Fingers crossed.

Ok, but not great

Great print speed and operation but has problems. Sleeps to hard to wake up, requires power reset 3 or 4 times a week. Locks up while asleep and power button will not wake or power off.

Good Quality and less expense

As advertised. Does the job without fuss. First time around but ink seems to be lasting. Printer costs about the same as an ink refill for the printer it replaced.
