Overall a great printer

I like pretty much everything about t his printer except that when putting in paper the tray where the paper comes our is in the way and keeps falling off so it's kind of a pain that way but otherwise, it prints beautifully/

My previous printer was a Brother MFC-440CN, it performed flawlessly for many years, until its firmware became outdated for my MacBook Pro. The MFC-J5845DW is much faster at both printing and scanning. I also like that I can now print from my iPhone. I haven’t had it very long, but so far I’m very impressed.

Was considering buying an eco-tank printer to reduce costs. Glad I made the choice to get this printer. Great on ink, very very fast, and has a lot of extra great features. I would recommend it to anyone.

Year Worth of ink!

It’s the best printer I’ve ever had. Prints fast, excellent color, black and white prints and I can print as much as I want because I have a year worth of ink.

Possible Workhorse

Fairly easy to set up, just take your time. No major issues so far. Usual learning curve on settings. Scanning is very good. Print quality is very good. A little confusing with the pass throught on legal size printing. Looks like it will be a good workhorse for the long run.

The machine does everything I ask it to quite well. One problem is that I have not found a way adjust the field of a scan to accommodate odd items.
