Great printer

Like the printer very much except it does not want to copy from the top feeder. It is much faster then my old printer(HP). I hope the ink lasts as long as they claim.

From the box to setting up on my network to printing & scanning my first document took about 35 minutes! Thus far, machine is as advertised — stingy on how it uses ink - which is beyond fantastic! With my previous two printers, I was purchasing ink cartridges every several weeks & I wasn’t printing a lot in my opinion. Brother’s ink system is what moved me to purchase my first & hopefully last printer for awhile. Printer is fast, quiet, it does take up more space than I had anticipated size-wise, however, this isn’t necessarily a criticism - just make sure you have ample space to situate it before purchasing. I’m completely satisfied with the LCD display & functionality. ADF is great, though it took me a few extra minutes to figure out the rear document configuration. I highly recommend this product & would readily purchase again.

I waste allot of paper!!!

It's disappointing to have spent so much money on this machine and everytime I use it the paper jams...without fail!

Wasn't sure this was able to handle our needs. It went beyond our expectations. Prints really fast. Wireless connect was easy.

Bought this because it was highly recommended. 13 months in and print quality had deteriorated. My EPSON lasted more that 5 years before it acted up.

1st: Love this printer. However, I bought it because I have occasional FAXing.
I can not get the fax to work using line & phone inputs. Neither can Brother top tier support. Now they are blaming the phone company. My prior HP printers worked fine using the same line & phone inputs. Had I not like the printer main functions so much I would have knocked off more stars. Now when ever I have to fax, I have to lift the printer top and plug in the line, close the lid and configure it to fax. Not happy. 1st: Love this printer.
