Gets the job done

So far, I'm very happy with the printer. The bonus is being able to print 11x17 posters for the office. It was a much more economical alternative to farming out our small quantity printing and there's no wait for printing to be delivered, etc. It's a larger machine, so space a reasonable amount of space is needed. So, keep that in mind.

Love the Printer

This printer fits the bill for me for I often print in letter, legal, and 14 X 17 sizes. I can load all of these three paper sizes in the three provided trays and never have to keep changing paper sizes in other trays as I have had to do in the past. and the color?? AWESOME!
I do have one problem though, I broke an ear off of the paper catcher on top. it works but I do need to replace this little tray peace. If you can let me know who I can contact to get this fixed, I would greatly appreciate it.

Fantastic Printer

I have had the printer for a little over a month and really like the printer! It was easy to set up, prints fast, and the double-sided scanning is fantastic. I do wish there were more documentation on the supplied software. My only complaint is the lack of ability to scan directly to PDF using the on-printer menu and iPrint&Scan app.

I bought an Epson. It was difficult to use and Slow. Returned it and got the Brother.

I used to try to print photos but gave it up as too much trouble. What I need is a competent printer that that prints when I ask it to. this one does.

MFCJ6945DW Great All In One!!!

The MFCJ6945DW is the first Brother Product that I purchased, it is hands down ten times better than the previous HP Officejet Printers I have owned. Brother is more reliable, does great printing, and gas better features. " Will never go back to HP".

Great printer, full of function

The purchase of this printer was an emergency. My old Brother machine, 9 years old, suddenly died. When I ordered this one, it was supposed to arrive on a Monday by 10pm, but Sunday mornimg at 7:30am, I was awakened by it's delivery! I'll take an early arrival! The great thing was that I had the printer up & running well before business on Monday. Everything's been running great!

Great features and good quality

Printer worked first time out of the box for letter and ledger sizes. No problems loading software. Print quality as expected. Scanning works well but I haven't tried AF yet. Don't use fax so I can't comment. When I first started buying printers 20 years ago I steered away from Brother because the demo units in the stores were always broken but this time they worked in the store and I was impressed. I mostly bought HP but the way they force you to use a lot of expensive ink disgusts me and I doubt I will buy them again. So far Brother seems to be keeping their promise of good quality low cost printing.
