Prints Great...Poor conectivity

I am very disappointed with the connections, both USB and network with this printer, MFCJ6945DW. The print quality is great...when you actually can get it to print. Very disappointing for a "office quality" printer.

Goes through printer cartridges too quickly!

Goes through the ink faster than advertised. For a small business printer, with ink cartridges advertised to last a year, we go through the ink every 2.5 weeks. That’s a big difference. Otherwise it is working well

I needed an 11x17 printer and scanner...this one does the job.
The document feeder also handles 11x17 and is a really useful one...does not misfeed on wrinkled pages or pages that were previously stapled. 2-sided printing, copying, and scanning. The only downside is it lacks an email link so I can send documents from remote locations to be printed at my office.

One annoying feature, onelarge problem

I've had this just about a year, using it primarily to print large envelopes with postage, and occasional photo printing. The energy saving feature keeps turning the machine off, and I haven't found a way to deactivate it. Recently the print quality turned atrocious, and multiple head cleanings didn't solve the problem. Several dozen expensive 100% cotton envelopes later, after about the 15th cleaning using tons of ink and shopping for new printers, it seems to be printing normally again. Whatever happened to replaceable print heads?

Very good machine

I really have no issues with the machine up to this point. I don't see how the black ink is going to last for a year as probably claimed. I just bought it in June - July and the black ink level is significantly down.
