The second one was the charm. Some issue with the first one I received was handled quickly and efficiently by the seller. Now all is well and the printer is a gem.

Great Hardware. Software and Tech Support Need Imp

Great hardware with super features. It's a little larger due to full function 11 X 17 design and features. Software concept is good, but not mature enough for a novice user to set up unless they get lucky. I had an issue with WiFi connectivity and worked with Brother Support for hours without resolution. Finally sought help elsewhere and the issue was solved in less than a minute and one click in the router setup interface.

General Operation Quality

The J6945DW prints and copies with acceptable quality. The paper trays have a problem with the slides when trying to open and close them. Paper feed is very loud and #1 or top tray makes a very loud clicking when feeding paper. #2 or bottom feed is not so bad. Top cover to copy or scan bed is quite heavy making it easy to drop when closing.

If the ADF makes a clicking, grinding, or squeaking noise when a copy or being made or a fax sent, there may be debris or another object stuck in the area. Beats my old HP!

I got this to replace an HP and a Canon. I am very happy with it. Set up was easy and I have no problems printing from all the computers in my office. Well worth the purchase!
