Excellent Choice

I was looking for a printer that could handle scanning and printing 11 x 17 inch paper. This one does and it does it well. It is great having two (2) paper trays (meand you don't waste time swapping out paper and having to readjust the tray each time) AND a manual feed in the rear (allows the use of other types of media - envelopes, photo paper, other specialty papers, etc.). I also like the fact that this unit holds a lot of ink. I was very tired of having to constantly purchase ink. I am very satisified with its capability and performance at this point in time. Time will tell on its durability but it is a beefy printer so I imagine it will last a while. I highly recommend this product to those who need the larger format paper.

seems to be good printer so far. we printer occasionally so not been used a lot yet. was easy to set up. if you have limited space you need to make sure you have the room for this printer because it is quite large.

Takes time to learn all features

Purchased for use while working at Home. It took awhile to figure out how to account for the entire document area when making 11x17 Scan. There is also downside with the settings having to be adjusted in order for "yellow highlight" to be displayed on Color Scan. Even after adjustment, color appears as more orange than yellow. Satisfied with speed for Printing and Scanning.

Does Everything Needed At A Great Price!

Fantastic printer for anything! I thought I would never go back to an inkjet because of cost of consumables and frequency of replacing them. This printer is excellent in terms of print quality and cost of ink. I create technical drawings that I print in color at Tabloid size (11"x17") and the MFCJ6945DW prints them at professional quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!
