they did an excellent job solving a problem right out of the box, and I have had good luck with Brother machines before, so purchasing the MFC 6545 was an easy decision. Im very happy with their quality and their customer service

Not for long term use

I guess it's best described from my perspective as something I look at as a consumable rather than a durable product. The print quality was never on par with either past multi-function inkjets or my large format inkjet (from day one and based on past experience, anyway) and it's now become unusable in 16 months... Printing is unreadable due to extreme banding, cleaning has only made print quality and readability worse (yes, worse) and not better. It's cheaper to replace than repair. I spent an hour running thru the cleaning dialog repeatedly when I absolutely, positively needed a document and the print quality declined with every effort throughout those cleaning cycles. I gave up and I sent the job to my large format printer of another manufacture... it had sat on standby for months, but it saved me and printed a beautiful document.

Waste Of Money

Paper is always getting jammed. Also when trying to copy something, I always get the orientation wrong which is a waste of paper & ink. I do like the speed that the printer prints at.

Fantastic Printer

I have used this printer many times now and I Love it. I have had several printers over the years and this one is by far the best one I've ever had. It prints, scans, copies and does faxes without any problems and is so easy to do. I highly recommend this printer to anyone that wants a great hassle free machine.

This machine has worked perfectly. The 2 sided single pass scanning and large format support is fantastic for what I do most. Printing quality is very good - THis isn't a photo printer, but does a great job for most office document purposes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
