[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Saeco Taleo Giro was like a family pet, but when her initial cost, plus repairs, added up to the cost of this one, I put her out to pasture.
If I’d done it sooner I’d have realized how much better my coffee could be. The Giro paid for itself in a year. The Xcelsis may do it in half the time because it can deliver so many drink choices.

Large bin for lots of beans, large canister for lots of milk & froth, a large drip tray for lots of spillage, a small bin for a one-shot dose of pre ground coffee, and lots & lots of different recipes in its library!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and easy to clean, but, of course, the best feature is quality espresso. As good as the big commercial espresso machines produce. And, it makes a wide variety of choices in espresso drinks two at time. This is a great feature when your partner prefers your same espresso drinks The cappuccino is exquisite with thick foam. Never going back to what we thought was the best manufacturer of home espresso machines. This machine is the best by far.

1. PRICE. I think this machine is overpriced. Especially considering it recommends not to use dark roast beans.
2. The weekly / monthly cleaning can become a lot of work. Yes, I get lazy sometimes....
3. Although I like its multiple drinks, somehow it will never be the same as the coffee you get at a coffee shop...
4. I don't trust its measurements. If it says 5ML of milk, it will NOT use 5ML...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Xelsis. Makes a great variety of drinks and we are have fun trying them all. Great detection on when the water is low, the bin is full, and cleaning features.
The reason I give it a 4 star is because the water tray is a manual red bobber that you have to pay close attention to or you will end up with overflow all on your counter. This is a big disappointment that they did not include a sensor to show it is full in the screen and to prevent the machine from running like the other auto detect features. I expected this on a high end priced machine. Other then that we are very happy.
