I have been impressed from the first cup. I have another super automatic espresso machine which is now retired. The most important thing is that I love the taste and temperature of my coffee. I find everything in the process of making espresso to be simple and intuitive. The mess is very minimal. The cleanup is easy. Even the weekly cleaning is easy because the mess has been greatly reduced in this model. I have been drinking a lot more espresso since I received my Saeco PicoBaristo. I use the milk carafe almost every time. It really is simple to use. I am really happy with this machine

Simplify your morning routine

I chose to give the Picobarista 5 stars because it is simply the best super automatic machine out there. It is super easy to use, clean, and maintain. The people who complain have probably never used an espresso machine. Or know what is involved in the process of creating the perfect cup of espresso each and every time. This machine takes out the guess work, and all you have to do is press the button. And do the periodic cleaning. Which isn’t bad at all, since most of it is dishwasher safe, and the machine will notify you of most of the cleaning intervals.
We use Labazza Super Crema espresso beans. But you can use any that are “superautomatic”-friendly.
If you want great coffee in the morning without thinking about it, and don’t want to become a barista... this is the way to go.

I have to say. I'm in my 60's, I don't want any problems in the morning, just a cup of coffee. after this machine is set up all you have to do is press a button and get your coffee, first cup about two minutes, after that about 30 seconds each. My wife loves the cappuccino.

This is a great espresso machine. It consistently makes great drinks and the automated milk frothing is amazing. It is a little loud, as expected, with the grinder and such. But the drinks are great and it has not had any issues within the first month. Cleaning is simple and only takes a few minutes weekly. It does send a lot of water into the drip tray, however, the tray is large and rarely needs to be emptied. This does use a lot of extra water though and it doesn't have a large reservoir

This is the best expresso machine in it's average. Workmanship, cleaning features, easy to use, price. I am happy with my coffee machine. I am enjoying the rich aroma of a expresso every morning.
The only 2 items that i would like to comment is the limited water reservoir and the space between the attached milk container and the actual drink dispenser is so close and hard to fit any cup.
