Very good product. However there's some hardware issues that could be improved: the screen blinks when I plug/unplug it from a power source, the fingerprint recognition is very poor (I set it up 3 times and still it doesn't recognize my fingers after a few days), the screen does not turn on immediately when it's sleeping etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After 1 month there is 1 dead pixel and also a noticeable amount of back light bleed around the corners. Also the glossy screen, back cover and areas beside the trackpad all hold fingerprints very well and is hard to clean. Battery life is about 6-8 with mild usage
The side bottom chassis of the laptop was slightly damaged. It was showing a slight impact. But I decided not to return it as I heard way more horror stories about other's X1s and I'm already feeling lucky.

Had issue with laptop performance and with battery life cycle.. after updating all drivers and replacing the buttery, both issues were not solved.

Great laptop but video card failed after 24 month

I had a top configuration of this laptop working for 2 years without an issue and then video card failed. Since its soldered on the motherboard, its impossible to replace it separately. Research suggests its a known issue. I would expect a better quality from top-of-the-line X1 laptop. 4K screen was beautiful though.
