Great build but annoying problems

Looks and feels like a fine laptop if comparing to macbook pro, but windows out of the box will give you lots of frustration. This kind of laptop should come without touchscreen with windows optimized for laptops not tablets. Evenmore, right out of the box keyboard and touchpad freezes, so many times in an hour so you want throw laptop into the wall. Based on the web search it is a known problem that is not addressed anywhere. Updating drivers doesn't solve the problem for long. So with freezing laptop performance and productivity goes to zero. Very disappointing for hpc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as great as I was expecting

Few issues I have noticed:
Cooling fan is noisy and make lot of noise if you put load on system. E.g start 3 visual studio together.
Not happy with position of keys on keyboard. I am use to having Control key on bottom left corner, in this model it is FN key. Not sure why.
Function keys in first row are not working as expected. They should be acting like F1, F2...F12.
Instead it is doing multimedia functions for changing volumes. Not sure why..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, this laptop has served the purpose. The only baffling item is that the power unit is wide and flat -- but the strap for securing the wires to the power unit (when not in use) is too short to go all the way around the power unit. Someone was asleep on that one. But the laptop itself does not seem to suffer from similar shortcomings.
