Great replacement for home WiFi

I purchased the two unit system for my 5300 sq ft home and it works perfectly. It was easy to setup and it paired with 5 Apple Airport expresses adding non-drop steady converage to my airplay system.

Im obsessed with my Orbi!

I really love the orbi! It was the most easy thing to set up thanks to the app which literally walks you step by step. The WiFi is strong and works in our home which nothing else has (due to the length of our home ) I added our Alexa to The Orbi and it's such a great feature. I have zero complaints and would recommend this to anyone !

Orbi Alexa

We needed to get a WiFi booster for our router. As we started doing our research, we discovered this Orbi with a satellite Alexa unit which acts like a WiFi booster but covers a much wider area. As it turns out, this worked great. As an added bonus, we really enjoy having the Alexa to play music through its harman/Kardon speaker. It has some other benefits like pairing with a home security system and such that we have yet to use. But we are very happy with this product so far.

Solves problems, plus Alexa

This Orbi Voice/Orbi system replaces an Airport Base Station and Express (still working fine but no longer supported). Setup went smoothly, and coverage is much better. We already have Alexa devices in the home, along with many home automation devices. Having another Alexa in place is very handy. I really like the top control panel on the Voice'”it's intuitive to control volume using a touch system rather than the twisty top on my Alexa Echo. The big advantage of Alexa embedded in this speaker is being able to play Amazon music on command. This offers great value for price paid.

Limited speaker functionality

Great sound quality and works nicely for the internet reach in the house, but wish it had Bluetooth and/or connected to Sirius.
I bought it for work, and I listen to SiriusXM during the day. But it doesn't Bluetooth nor can it connect to SiriusXM via the app.
Otherwise, it is a nice device.

Alexa Multi Room Music NOT included

The wifi works great. Unfortunately the Alexa multi room music is not available. If you check the forums we have been requesting this be added for more than a year. Just did not want someone else to purchase this item assuming as I did, that this would become a speaker in my music group.

Do not buy if you want Apple Music or BBC Radio

Although this is sold as an Alexa enabled device it lacks the same functionality of other Alexa devices. You cannot play Apple Music on it even though you have been able to on other Alexa devices since March 2019. Some of the Alexa skills also don't work on it - the key one for UK buyers is the BBC Radio Skill which means that you cannot listen to any BBC Radio stations (think there will be very few users of a smart speaker in the UK that don't want to listen to any BBC Radio). The speaker also doesn't support airplay (or have bluetooth or have an audio or USB input) so if Alexa doesn't do it, you can't do it in any other way. It is basically a bit rubbish and I would go for a straightforward satellite wifi extender plus a proper smart speaker if you want something that actually works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Alexa Multi Room Audio support

Please do not buy this for Alexa "multi room music" functionality - the speaker itself is fine, however, it does not support Alexa MRM functionality which is fundamental if you have more than one alexa device in your house.
The satellite router functionality works as advertised, so if you are buying for that and you maybe need to play music in standalone fashion on one device then its fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
