[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This label maker is MORE than a label maker. When I think of a label maker I think of hard tape and imprinted letters. This label maker is a printer, and makes all kinds of designs, borders, fonts, different tape colors (like gold!) and you can even print pictures or use little images. There are pre made designs you can customize(great for essential oil roller labels, or food containers in pantry), and it`s so fun and intuitive to use.My kids and I have been labeling EVERYTHING! I am excited to keep playing with it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hardware is great - reasonably small, good battery life, takes up to .94" tape which is great for making cable labels. Software for phone and PC works... but is clunky at best.

Really versatile, apps could be improved

I have used older models of the P-Touch for almost 20 years, and always appreciated the labeling. This newer model (PT-P710BT) is by far the best I have used. I love the compact form factor, the rechargeable battery, and Bluetooth, making it truly portable. Also being able to create the labels on my phone is great. My one wish is that the phone app was less tricky to use, moving label elements around with your finger is kind of imprecise, and takes longer than it should. I wish the app had left/right/up/down buttons that would let me precisely position elements on the label. I’m wondering if the PC app maybe has that functionality, I’ll have to try it. But, overall, I love this P-Touch. Kudos Brother designers!

Better for 2+ labels, but still beautiful for one

It takes several seconds to turn on the printer, connect to Bluetooth, and start the app. But once that is done, you get beautiful, durable labels! You’ll be okay with the tiny wasted pieces once you understand that there are several layers getting squished together!

Wastes a lot of tape!

It's great that you can print any graphic or languages but unlike keyboard types, it wastes 1" of tape at the beginning so get ready to waste a lot of them! Still have more choices for me to design the label so 4 stars (1 star off for wasting tape)

Great product work's well with a lot of different formats and tapes. Pairing can be an issue with the iPhone. Every time the unit is turned on you have to go into the iPhone Bluetooth settings and manually connect the device. Once that is done it works like a champ. The iPrint&Label iOS app is solid and very easy to use. The Design&Print iOS apps are nicely laid out and easy to use but they are prone to crashing.
