For drive to and walk in sites where the car won't be far and there is plenty of wood, this is one of the better options I've seen. Its first trip with us was a canoe/kayak jaunt in the Adirondacks. Six miles later, we had a site on an island with a big fire ring for warmth and the BioLite Firepit for cooking. It was easy to regulate, efficient, and kept some devices charged, which was a convenient plus. The fire poker also found lots of work in the big fire ring. To quote a friend: "This poker is the best tool I've ever had on a trip."

This product has made being stuck at home a pleasure! We've been cooking every night on it in our backyard and then enjoy the glowing flame while we eat. It helps get us outside and off our screens.

The Fire pit is easy to start and burns very efficiently. However, it can get quite smokey at times and seems to already be rusting after 3 uses. I have kept the pit covered after use to keep it dry but it does still appear to be rusting.
I like the fire pit and will continue to use is and my biggest disappointment it the likely longevity issues from the quick rusting.

This product is amazing. I have a giant fire pit in the backyard, but wanted something smaller, easier, and safer for when the kids are running around. This pit is ideal for casual fires and for teaching the kids some essential skills. Plus the tech is really cool. Highly recommend!

Lightweight - easily moved around. Not exactly ‘smokeless’ but like any fire, once there is a good bed of coals and the fan is on high it throws a lot of heat with less smoke. Good product - I can’t wait to cook on it.
