Works as expected. Most of the smoke is burned off at medium to high fan speed. Just make sure you use it a place that doesn't have any wind. I find that if its windy out, there is a lot of smoke.

So far I love it. My kids love it...my wife hated the price. There was still some smoke though it made it possible for everyone to get warm on a cold night. That being said, there's no way that anyone would be able to sit downwind of any other campfire so close without being smoked out. I'm sure I will have to use some high heat black paint in the future if/when rust arrives. Overall great so far.

I’ve built fires my entire life and this thing is a game changer! Best purchase I’ve made this year for sure. I love it and keep it in my truck when I travel also cuts down on the amount of fire wood I use when camping or just hanging out on my deck.
