such a bummer- we bought this for my husband for his birthday- it actually smokes more than a firepit.

Great FirePit, with the exception of the fan. It is lopsided so when it runs it is loud and shakes the whole unit. Sounds like an A/C compressor. The issue is that the fan doesn’t seat tightly onto the spindle it spins on, so it shakes a creates quite a racket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fire pit is pretty cool :)
It does cut way, way down on the smoke so it works as advertised. And, it is pretty cool seeing the fire through the mesh sides.
It is too pricey so it is not recommended based on the price. It is recommended because it is pretty awesome.
My wife loves it, so it rates 4 Fonzies (Gen X knows what I am talking about)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faulty out of box. No quality Control?

I bought this for my wife’s birthday present and planned her whole birthday evening around using it. When she opened it, the battery pack did not turn on or charge. Seems to not work right out of the box. There is no phone number to call and problem solve, so we emailed the company and they said they’d get back to us in a few days. Hopefully they do.
Still this sort of ruined our birthday plans.

#1 Over priced. For the price I would have expected a more rigorous build.
#2 one screw for the handle did not seat. It turned and turned. No, I did not over tighten it the first time, it should have had a nut welded in the tube. That is a poor design, cutting a corner to save four screws.
