SunLight is Alright!

The SunLight is my first solar light. I like that the light is bright with 100 lumens, rechargeable and portable. The choice of hue will be very useful in the dark sky parks I visit.

Work as advertised. The recharge is easy with full sunlight.
I was a bit miffed to get NO USB cable with the four pack. Now I have a few from previous BioLite purchases but if this was my first buy I'd be mad at the lack.

Very fun little light. Convenient, small but really puts out. Solar charges quickly, and AC charges really, really quickly. Charge lasts longer than I expected. Makes a great gift too. I love that it is dimmable. like most (- all?), of BioLite's lights. Company making valuable contribution to good of planet and people too.

Very well thought out design

Lots of small details make this an excellent design - a foldable stand, s small hook for suspending above or attaching to a pack, a small hole for aligning to the sun for maximum charging, a rubber cover for the USB port, simple one-button operation, charging status display, water resistance ... I am impressed.

Great light.

Just got off a 3-week rafting trip on the Grand Canyon and the SunLight was the perfect light to have along. It was ideal for lighting up the kitchen/party area, and it is also compact enough to use a a flashlight. It charges quickly and I was able to use it every day with no problem.

GREAT little light

Just bought this little light and first impressions was that it is a quality built product. The light was VERY bright, almost too bright, but if you hold the power button down you can ADJUST the brightness ! (Perfect for reading or evening relaxing). Used this light camping and it lasted all night no problem. Let it sit out during the day and it was good to go (would recommend plugging it in before camping just to top up .. but not nessisary). Only complaint is the constant flashing to indicate charge level ...seems wastfull ...could make it so it flashes once with a tap of a button (really i am nit-picking though)? Ultimately the light is bright, well built, and easy to use. I would fully recommend it.

Have been using and seeing how well these lights work. Is stated 50 hours on low. I'm not sure if having the light on its stand allowed any light to get to the solar panel, but had the light on low for 60 hours before I turned it off.

Best camp lights ever!

I bought a 4 pack on special in anticipation of needing 2 backups available at all times in the event the primary pair ran low on power. I'm glad I bought 4 but I've never needed to use them as backup. I can illuminate the entire campsite, the camp kitchen and the hangout area enough to cook, play cards or for my wife even knit! These are the best lights ever and I'm never packing the gas lantern again. I think I can find a bunch more applications for these lights that have nothing to do with camping. :-)
