Energy and Space Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Impressed! This machine is efficient and space saving. A wonderful idea and I enjoy using it. There are many cycles and options to choose from, it even has an extra fast spin which is great for the clothes I want to hang dry.
Since it does both wash AND dry, the machine is in use for an average of 2hrs (or longer depending on your selections). Make note: it takes longer to dry since it's not vented like a typical dryer, but you also have the option of not drying. Some loads I have done have taken 3.5hrs.
Unlike the traditional duo, I am not able to start a second load while the first is drying. So because of this, I changed how and when I do laundry. Now, I can start a load before bedtime or going to work and not have to worry about needing to move clothes to the dryer. With this idea in mind, the extra time it takes to complete a load doesn't seem to hinder progress. I really am loving this machine and I am figuring out which cycles work best for the different types of loads I'm wanting to wash.
Since it has a heating unit for the dryer, it only needs the cold water hookup and heats the water as it needs it (no more extra energy used heating water for it in the hot water tank).
It has 2 dispensers to hold liquid soap and softener. I love that I don't have to pour in soap each time I do a load... it will notify when it is low.
Also, it can connect to our Wi-Fi and the progress of the cycle can be viewed over the Whirlpool App.
We installed it ourselves and the instructions were very easy to follow! Note: You may need to get a power cord that matches the outlet you have (it has instructions for the 3 and 4 prong) it didn't come with the machine.
As with anything new, it does take an adjustment period, but this machine is fabulous. I love it!

Perfect for us

Bought our All In One about 8 months ago, love the feature of an all in one. Put the laundry in and a while later it's done (yes it takes a little extra time). Haven't experienced the use issues that others have, HOWEVER, for 3 out of the 8 months we have had the machine it has been inoperable. We have lost two "boards" in the unit and the time for replacement parts is ridiculous.
I would like to have Whirlpool swap out our machine (Best Buy won't do that). Instead of giving me numbers to call (I have waited on hold for hours), facebook pages to go to or tweets to send, I would rather you call me. Look up my number off of my serial number TF83001300 and give me a call to discuss a replacement product. Resolve my issue and I give the company and product 5 stars across the board.

software processor may be not good quality

I bought WFC8090GX in Aug 2021 and use it about twice a week, Often have to reset the software, and right now showing the despenser1 is low message even if it is max full, and now that not sure if it is really washing close with detergent or not.
Troubleshoot guide does not specify how to handle those cases

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be happier with this washer/dryer. I LOVE the fact I put the load in and the machine does it all! I have even installed the app and can see the progress no matter where I am and control the machine as well.

Space and time saving!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this all in one washer-dryer three months now, and I love it! You only load the drum about a half full (which allows it to be a dryer after the wash cycle), for this I’m really liking not having so many much laundry per load. I’m finding with fewer pieces of clothing and all, that I can quickly fold and store my laundry when it’s clean. The filter that you are supposed to change every six months must be changed much more frequently with pets (I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, mine is the house of fur). I’m still fine tuning,my next guess during shedding season, every 2 months. Honestly once you figure it out cleaning the filter, it’s not such a big deal. I didn’t read the entire instructions the first couple of times, and because it is different from your usual washer and dryer there is a learning curve to understanding how to use it . I love this machine!

Great unit when it works... but very buggy

So ill start this off by saying if you live in more than a house of 2 this is probably not the washer for you
If you live in an apt without a washer dryer hookup this washer is for you... the all in one ventless design is perfect i have min connected to the sink and i use the ranges 220 power supply... i cant cook and do laundry at the same time but it beats laundromats
When this unit runs right its great fast wash cycles and the dry cycle dries fairly quick as long as the garments still have a tumble to them if you put so much in that it no longer has that tumble effect drying will be impossibly long i often set to auto dry - damp dry and clothes 100% dry to the touch and often if i check after about 90 mins they are dry too usually
Now for the bad this unit seems exceptionally buggy
About every 3rd/ 4th load it will toss a no water detected code in the middle of the was cycle to clear this code you have to unplug the unit wait a moment plug it back in and start the wash cycle all over kind of annoying but its better than a nasty dirty laundromat
Now every once in awhile the thing will just go nuts... will run wash cycles fine it will go to start its dry cycle but fill itself up with water like a wash cycle often even dispensing soap too... will then throw up a no water code and sit full of water so you unplug reset and select spin cycle or rinse and spin and again it says spinning but the drums in was cycle and full of water... cancel cycle select spin cycle again ok great it spun this time now select dry cycle and it fills itself with water soaking the clothes again then tosses no water detected code again and no matter what you seem to do it wont cooperate with you... so you toss in the towel and hang dry that load a few days later you toss a new load in and in functions as it should or just makes you clear a no water code...
Another thing ive noticed with the load and go dispenser is i constantly get low fluid warnings when its full about every other load it does this
Ultimately this is whirlpools first crack at the all in one unit so i should have expected issues like this and gone with a more basic old school tried and true unit
But most of the time it operates as it should
I do recommend this product for certain people again this unit will likely not meet expectations if your in a large household with alot of laundry but if you short on space or dont have a vent for a dryer this unit or units like it will keep you out of the laundromat and keep you from raising your humidity level from hang drying...
I do whirlpool made an option for an all in one with 110 power supply as i imagine most people use this in a apartments where the only 220 power they have is the range if you have 220 dryer hookup I imagine youd just use a normal washer dryer set and not spend the extra money for a ventless all in one

Something Very New And Different (at least to me)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still learning all the variations possible for use of this marvelous machine. It's especially nice that it is connected to my phone to keep me appraised of laundry progress. This machine takes longer to complete the each load. However, so far I am happy with the results (clean/dry laundry).
