Gorgeous

The Tivoli Music System BT is a gorgeous machine with excellent sound. We had a Bose Wave for well over a decade that we played our cds on, but it started to glitch. I was so happy when I found the Tivoli. It's exceeded my expectations at every step. Fast and careful shipping (all recyclable materials, too, which means a lot!) and all cds—from Ben Webster to Clara Schumann to Bob Marley to Monteverdi's Vespers to Tori Amos—sound phenomenal, complex, and richly toned. It was hard to choose, but I chose the Cherry / Metallic Taupe combo and I'm very glad I did. Warm wood and somehow the metallic taupe face just kind of disappears. If you're thinking about getting yourself a Tivoli, just do it!

reception difficulties

Has difficulties when set to certain local FM stations to maintain rececption strength. Also, seems to be influenced by the location of a person near the radio.

The BT system is so attractive and yet compact. My wife has been amazed at the deep quality of the sound having grown up with traditional full component systems.I was right in choosing this gift for my wife.

Tiny but mighty

I've been scraping along with rickety CD players that work some of the time, or streaming from my phone, which gives me a headache. I should have bought this ages ago. It feels very solid, the way it grabs the CDs-with confidence!! The audio options are great. It's not a replacement for the ridiculously complex and thunderous system my dad had, but it fills my living room beautifully and carries into the next room without shaking the house. I am very happy with it and think it is well worth its price.

This is used daily in my kitchen, and it replaces a Cambridge Soundworks, which I have loved and used for many years, but which no longer plays CDs. There are few white options for radio/CD players on the market, and I am pleased with my purchase. My only concern is the inconsistent volume. The volume dial might be at 9-10 for an FM station, but needs to be adjusted, nearly doubled, to 18 to achieve the same volume for a CD. I haven't yet tried the Bluetooth.

System is simple to set-Up and start using. My wife really likes the appearance (walnut and beige) and the read out. Sound is excellent. Very satisfied with the purchase
