It's not a Bose radio.

After over fifteen years of daily use and a major power disruption, my Bose radio finally failed. I went on-line to look for another Bose radio and was disappointed to find that Bose had discontinued the manufacturing of their radio/cd unit some years ago. In multiple Google searches the Tivoli Audio Music System BT was touted as the Bose radio replacement choice with many five-star ratings.I ordered the Tivoli Audio Music System BT and received a beautifully shipped radio in pristine condition.The weight of the radio was impressive and I could hardly wait to get it installed and set up with my Sirius Radio. On completion of the setup, I was immediately surprised at the quality of the tone. No deep rich bass, no depth of mid-range or sharp clarity of treble range and it had a somewhat "tinny" sound. I reviewed the owner's manual and adjusted the bass tunning to its maximus position. I then turned the treble down as low as possible. Still, the sound quality was not comparable to that of the Bose radio. When my wife entered the room and heard the Tivoli Music System BT she said, "it's not a Bose".The sound is passable but it should not be expected to sound like the Bose radio because it doesn't.The Tivoli Music System BT is an ok music system with a retro design.

I have found that this is a nice system for a smallish room. The sound is solid good and the Bluetooth works well. You do have to get used to the variability of the volume from various sources when using the bluetooth. I am very pleased and I use it every day.
