A small system with a big sound

I bought this unit to supplant or replace my much older Bose Wave Machine. The Bose might have a slight edge in the depth of sound, but otherwise and despite the smaller size. the Tivoli unit is a solid and impressive performer that in my opinion offers excellent value plus a handsome design that will look good anywhere. I just wish the control buttons were a bit larger. Also too small is the illustration in the operator's manual that shows and describes all the controls of the unit. Elsewhere in the manual, some of the information is incomplete or confusing. All told, however, this unit gets a thumbs up from me.

Awesome Sound, But . . .

This is a beautiful music system that will allow me to play CDs collected over many years as well as listen to NPR. However, I wish it had arrived with a hard-copy instruction manual. I am irritated that this high-end system requires me to use a QR code to access multiple pages of instructions. I am so stymied, in fact, that after two weeks I have yet to be able to set the date OR the clock. I find the lack of a manual preposterous!

Just what I was looking for

I was looking for a compact stereo with FM radio, CD, and Bluetooth for my home office. I wanted nice, full sound and an understated look. This fit the bill. I like that it has time and date on the display as well. I’m enjoying it immensely.

Finally, I can reach my favorite radio stations previoysly unavailble. Great sound from the get go, filling the rooms nicely.

Just set up my new system. It was a replacement for our old Bose that finally had the CD player bite the dust, that we use as a clock radio in the bedroom. Very nice sound quality, and it has buttons and knobs, yay! So far, only one thing I would change, and that is to be able to set the timer to play an hour instead of 20 minutes before it turns itself off. On the other hand, we can tap into the Bluetooth playlists we already have set up on the main stereo system.

I have three older Bose Wave Sound Touch systems. The CD players on all three have stopped working. Two of them have internet radio so they are worth keeping. I needed a replacement CD player and started looking around online. I decided on the Tivoli Audio Music System after reading positive reviews. As I senior citizen, I am always apprehensive about having to set up a new product. I went online and looked up the user's manual which helped a lot. The sound is fantastic. I have a large CD collection and really enjoy listening to them again.
