We replaced our Bose Wave Radio that the cd player was having tracking problems. Set up was easy after downloading the product manual. AM/FM sounds great and programming the presets when smoothly as did pairing the BT with the device. I enjoyed finely playing a CD. I can recommend your system to others.

I had been a long time Bose Wave Music System owner but became frustrated with it's overly sensitive CD player (it would skip over even a virgin CD; this was true over multiple units) and it's encumbered bluetooth system, which made reconnecting after a power outage and exercise in sheer frustration. The Tivoli Music System BT very reliably plays CD's, but it's bluetooth system seems every bit as frustrating as the Bose's: My phone (iPhone XR0 and laptop (MacBook Air 2023) can booth "see" the unit when powered on and on the bluetooth input selector (end even confirmed by the audible "beep") but will not successfully connect to it. Further, the lack of any kind of manual, which should include a trouble-shooting section, makes a resolution a piece of work that it should not be. Concerning the user interface (panel) it is a bit busier than I'd like and the buttons are very small, but decently organized, I suppose. Concerning the sound, it is good but not on a par with the excellent sounds the Bose can create. All-in-all, then, the Tivoli is an acceptable alternative to the Bose, but not superior.

Complicated set-up

So far we do not have it working correctly. It is very complicated to set up. Even the clock. I bought the black one for my husband and it came with a white electrical cord. I hope you have a black cord I can exchange.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our beautiful new CD/Radio. Perfect look for our kitchen, lovely sound, easy to use. A thoughtful product, very well made. We're using it to replace our Bose system whose CD player died. One month in, the CD player is doing fine. Fingers crossed that it holds up for years. Oh, and the sound is way better than the Bose. Looking forward to using the Bluetooth when we get the music on our phone sorted. In the attached video, we set the sound volume on 25 (it goes up to 30 with no distortion). 25 is beyond what we need--we usually set it at 15.
