Really great at certain things, good at others, relatively pain-free

I received a free sample of this epilator to review. I used it several times, and overall there is much to like about this product. I had only used an epilator one other time, and I found that experience painful. The Satinelle was surprisingly pain-free for me. I could definitely feel the hairs coming out, but it felt like little pinches or tiny little shocks, nothing intolerable. I do have fairly fine hair and I wonder if that makes a difference. I most like the way is easily and pretty painlessly removes facial hair; as I`ve gotten older, I`ve had a few spots of embarrassing lip hair, and I hate, hate, hate waxing. I found using the Satinelle to be significantly less painful than waxing my face, and it`s so much easier too. I liked also how it works on my legs, except I found the knees tricky. I had to go over them several times to get all the hairs. I do think it matters to go against the direction of your hair growth, and also my hair was already pretty short, so it may have been hard for the epilator to grab it. The only thing I`m iffy on is the underarm area. It definitely works, and I like that when I use the epilator there is no dark shadow, but I won`t lie: it hurts. I mean, how could it not? It`s a tender area of the body to begin with.
A few things I discovered: it will run when it`s not fully charged, but it more effectively grabs the hairs when it has been on charge for awhile. Though it`s a wet/dry epilator, it seems to work better wet. This one also comes with a massage head and an exfoliator, and using both helps, both before and after.
Overall I`m really impressed with this model: how well it works in areas, how pain-free it is (also in areas...) and how thorough the kit is. There are special caps for hard to reach or angular areas and these help. It also is easy to use, and though it comes with really helpful, thorough and easy to read instructions, they really aren`t necessary if you`ve epilated before. I`m happy to have this tool in collection and will use it regularly.

I received a free sample of an epilator. I did a review on it which was really cool to do and try something new.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: hurts when doing bikini it under arm

Epilator that works

“I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.” After receiving the box I found it was carefully packaged and its accessory was well wrapped. This brought mix feelings since it was very well protected and not damaged but it created lots of package materials to dispose. This make me think is there a way to reduce environmental impact by using less packaging materials? After reading instructions I proceed to charge the device. AS a background the first time ever I removed my legs hair when I was about 14 was using `epilady` which was a similar artefact with a metallic spring. My memories were that it was very, very painful. Therefore my expectations were not great. I was surprised since it did hurt when some of the hairs were pulled but it was not that bad, it was actually bearable and the product is efficient. Some areas required to pass over a few times since it dos miss some hairs here and there but it is very targeted. My skin turned red in certain areas but by morning the redness was gone. I use it right before bed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The all in one amazing tool for beautification of the skin

I have been wanting to try an epilator for some time now so when I got the opportunity to try the Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator for free in exchange for writing a review, I jumped at the opportunity. I was so excited and could not wait to get this product. I was kind of nervous because I had not tried this type of epilator before and I heard they were painful. This unit comes with 9 attachments and let me tell you, this product does not disappoint. You can use this unit wet or dry and to test the epilator, I used it on my wet legs for starters. This product also comes with a foiled shaving attachment, which I used on one leg and the epilator on the other. The epilator removes hair down to the root, and thus can be slightly painful and irritating to the skin. But the skin is left so much smoother than the foiled shaved leg. It is best to use the epilating tool at night so the skin can heal since it may leave the skin slightly reddened. There are attachments to use for the facial area that lessen the roughness of the epilator on the face. The tool removed my facial fuzz with ease. This tool has a light on it which is very helpful. Another amazing attachment included with this product is a body massaging tool. This thing is beyond awesome! Also, there is an exfoliating brush attachment. This product has so many tools and attachments there is no need to buy several products. This is an all in one amazing tool for beautification of the skin. (That phrase should be written on all the boxes). I am in love with this epilator. Of course, there has to be a flaw or two and for me, I would like it to stay charged a little longer. It has about 45-60 minutes of continuous run time. And the second flaw is that I feel there should be ridges on the handle because it can get kind of slippery when using it wet. Other than that, if you are looking for a product of this type, this one is definitely worth the money. It is nothing short of amazing.

To Bare It All, Must Come With Ease

I finally used my free sample product for reviewing because I didn`t have enough hair growth when I received it. I only used the product dry and was easy to use. I only used the epilator since I needed to compare it to my existing brand, Emjoi. I liked the Satinelle, but didn`t love it. I liked that it was very convenient to charge, portable, and probably great for travel with to maintain touch-ups. The only reason why I said I liked it rather than loved it was because the rotating disks were not quite as fast as my Emjoi. The Emjoi also has gold plated disks that seem to grab hairs more securely (especially really fine hairs) and do not have to repeatedly go over areas so many times. The Satinelle was a solid alternative for me to use as a comparison, but will remain using me Emjoi (since 2001).
Pros: portable, great design
Cons: the disks are not quite as fast., plastic disks on the epilator.

Waterproof, easy to use, great results=game changer!

I am so thankful that I was presented with the opportunity to try and review this product! I would not have tried an epilator, again, otherwise! Having had a bad experience with epilating about a decade ago, I thought I would be shaving my legs the rest of my life. Overall, I love this product! The packaging, and the rose cold gold coloring, was attractive, and made me want to at least check out what was inside! I set aside an hour on Sunday evening to try the product. I took a look at all of the attachments, and decided that epi head was best for my needs. (but I am super excited to try the body exfoliater!) I initially tried the epi head on dry skin, and was too apprehensive and the sensation was a bit too much. Not painful, but definitely uncomfortable. So, I ran a bath, and did a patch test. And that patch area, was so smooth after a focused try that it gave me the confidence to keep going. After about two minutes or so the sensation was much less uncomfortable. It Took me less than 20 minutes or so to complete both legs on my first attempt. And, I am loving my results! And, the results are expected to last 3 to 4 weeks!? I am super geeked! I am extremely busy, and I travel a lot, so this is much more convenient and efficient than I even anticipated! Strengths: the fact that it is waterproof & easily chargeable, the built-in light, the two speeds, and the multiple attachments! Weaknesses: I really can’t think of any. If the instructions are followed, the product is easy to use and delivers the desired results.
Pros: built in light, waterproof, leaves skin silky smooth

Worth the pain!

I received this product for free to test in exchange for writing this review. This product was very easy to get out of the box and get set up. You will have to charge the epilator for an hour before you will be able to use. While it was charging I read the instructions. The instructions were very easy to read and understand. I really liked how they gave you directions for each of the attachments. You can use the epilator either while wet or dry. I prefer to use it dry. I do have to say that it hurt quite a bit the first time I tried to use it. It was difficult for me to do both of my legs in one sitting because of the pain. I would not recommend using it on sensitive areas. On a scale of 1-10 I would say it was an 8 on the pain scale. At this point I have only used it on my legs but I do plan to try my face and underarms. The good news is that the more I do it the less painful it has become. Even though it is a little painful it is totally worth it. It pulls out the entire hair from the root which means I do not have to shave near as often. It has also left my legs feeling the most smooth that they ever have. If you can get past the pain it this epilator can be a game changer for you. I would definitely recommend this product!

Amazing and definitely something I would buy for someone

This product does an amazing job on facial and underarm hair. The epilator is one of the best that I have ever used. My favorite feature is the skin exfoliator. It not only made my skin feel better it got rid of the "dead skin" while I was in the shower. Another feature, is the bikini razor part which can be used to get rid of unnecessary underarm hair. The different heads are very easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow as well. I did not know what to expect when I received this in the mail. I was very surprised that it worked this well. The charging port and charger is perfect. The battery life rarely ever goes out. I would change the color of the Wet and Dry Epilator, I would make it more vibrant since I am a woman and I noticed how dull the color was. The epilator for the face should be more defined. I would recommend this product for my best friends and female relatives. This product was not difficult to use and it definitely got the job done. Overall, this is definitely a product that I will buy on my own in the near future. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review

Cons: color was dull
