In exchange for doing this review, I received a free sample of the Philips Satinelle Prestige wet and dry Epilator. There are many heads to this device which I really appreciate because the massage head is a wonderful added bonus. The hair removal heads are many and can be a bit confusing.I will more than likely stick to one or two as opposed to constantly switching heads. The #7 efficiency cap seems to work best and fastest for me.The exfoliator head feels terrific and removes dead cells and leaves my skin smooth and silky. I`m not sure how many times I will take advantage of this head but it sure feels great! The rechargeable battery did not last a full 40 minutes for me as the box stated but being cordless is an added plus. The travel pouch keeps all of the parts in one place. Overall, I did like this Epilator as it is a great improvement over previous ones that I have used
Pros: many choices of heads
Cons: battery did not last 40 minutes

Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My expectations were somewhat high based on the research done online prior to receiving the actual product. This product is no better or worse than other products currently on the market. I was particularly disappointed with the shaving attachment for shaving. I had to use the epilator 2-3 times just to get an average shave and then I had to follow up with a razor to get the clean, smooth shave I was looking for. All others gadgets were acceptable but my main focus was the shaver and it did not meet up to my expectations. I would not personally purchase this product.

Doesn’t always grab the hair on first pass

I was given a free Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator, in exchange for a review. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and I’m a little disappointed. I expected it to be great! But it doesn’t grab the hairs as well as I thought it would. It’s not as painful as I expected, but you have to do the area a few times to get all of the hair. I’d rather have something hurt a little more and be done than have to keep going over the same area. I’m disappointed but it does get the job done if you take the time to go over the area a couple times. All in all, I’d say it’s just ok.
Pros: wet or dry, comfortable to hold, easy to use, cordless
Cons: you need to go over the area a few times, weak motor that slows down with pressure

Disapointed

I received a free sample of the Satinelle Prestige Epilator to review, and I must say, I`m disappointed. I tried this both while wet and dry. Although it hurt a little less while my skin was wet, I had the same result both wet and dry. I had to go over the same area of my leg 6 or 7 times before it even felt like the hair was removed. I thought after reading all the directions that I would need to go over a spot once or twice and the hair would be gone. Similar to a razor. Otherwise what is the point? After one or two passes, I could not even tell that anything had been removed other than feeling the hairs come out. I also tried some of the other replaceable heads and tried this on my chin. Again I had the same results. It`s really a shame that it would take me probably well over an hour to get a leg smooth, because I could deal with the mild pain. I just don`t think it`s worth the time just to get a few extra days with no hair.

Useful,sleek and effective!!

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
Pros 1) The first thing I liked about the new Satinelle Prestige Cordless Wet & Dry epilator was that it is cordless. It definitely adds to the portability and less of cord hassles. I have used Philips epilator earlier and I always had a corded one, so this was a welcome change. The battery lasts quite a bit, I charged mine over a week back and it still has charge though I have used it. It has 2 speeds, of which I mostly used the higher one as I felt that was more effective and less painful.
2) Also it is a wet and dry one so I don't have to worry about the skin being dry before epilating. However, I did find it easier to epilate on a dry skin. For people using an epilator for the first time, it might hurt a bit, but I was okay with it.
3) The epilator results are good, it does give smooth skin on the hands and legs. However the hair needs to be long enough for better results. I epilated some short hair and could feel hair stubs on my hand for a few days, which softened as the hair grew back.
4) The shaving head is good for underarms and bikini line, gives smooth results.
5) The size is portable and very easy to hold. It has 8 pieces and the pouch which is nice.
5) The exfoliator is good with soft bristles which do not hurt and do a good job of cleaning the skin.
6) The heads can be changed easily. It does give a buzzing sound which will be audible in a quiet place, so limited privacy while using it.
Cons: 1) While the portability is good, the shaving/epilating head base is pretty small and covers a small area at a time. Hence it is time consuming to cover every part of the body.
2) I wish the pouch was atleast a couple of inches bigger on all sides, definitely does not fit all the parts comfortably.
3) The massager is hardly effective, does not do much.
4) The epilator worked fine in removing hair from the face but it left an itchy feeling for the whole day so I would rather not use it the next time on the face.
Overall a great product to have, saves salon time and money, is easy to carry, does not take a lot of space, and gives peace of mind in all situations.

Effective Epilator, Shaver, & Exfoliator.

I received a free Philips Satinelle Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator to test in exchange for my honest feedback. When I first unboxed the device, I was pleased with the shape of the device and the size of the device. The device was wider on the top and tapered down toward the bottom of the device. That made the device easier to grip. The device was a good length and felt strong and sturdy in my hands. It was well built and looked as though it could last several years. The device came with several attachment heads that allowed me to epilate, shave, and trim my body hairs. It also came with attachment heads that allowed me to exfoliate and massage my skin. I really appreciated how multi-functional the device was and how seamless it was to set up the device. The attachment heads were easy to attach and swap out. The device operated smoothly.
The first attachment that I used was the epilator head. I did not shave for a few days prior to testing the epilator head, so I had a few millimeters of hair present. I used the epilator head on my legs, arms, and underarms when my skin was dry. The epilator head did a decent job removing my hairs, but I had to run it over some areas a few extra times to fully remove all hairs. I did experience pain when using the epilator head. It felt as though someone was pinching my skin hard. The pain was uncomfortable, but bearable. I found that icing the area afterwards helped. There were additional attachments meant to make the epilation process more gentle, but I still experienced some pain when using those attachments. Even though the epilator head caused some pain and I had to run it over my skin several times to remove hairs, I still plan on continuing to use the epilator head. I actually found it to be less painful than waxing. It also kept my skin hair free longer than other hair removal methods like shaving.
The second attachment that I tried was the body exfoliator head. I really liked this attachment and will continue to use it. I used this attachment on my legs and arms. The exfoliator head was more gentle than I expected and did a great job removing dead skin cells from my body. I noticed an immediate difference in my skin texture after using the exfoliator head. My skin felt very smooth afterwards. I only wish the exfoliator head was larger to cover more surface area and make the body exfoliation process faster. It also would have been nice if there was an additional exfoliating attachment for my facial skin.
The third attachment that I tried was the massager head. I used the massager head on my arms, legs, face, and neck. According to the packaging, the massager head was supposed to relax my skin, but I honestly felt a bit uncomfortable and tense when I was rolling the massager head around on my skin. I do not see myself using the massager head again, because it really did not do much for my skin.
The last attachment that I used was the shaver head. I used it with the trimming comb, because I wanted a closer shave. I waited a few days for my body hairs to grow out before using the shaver head. I used the shaver head on my legs, bikini area, and underarms. I was able to glide the shaver head easily across my skin and I experienced no discomfort. The shaver head did a good job shaving off my body hairs and did not leave me with irritated razor bumps.
Overall, I think the Philips Satinelle Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator is a good device to have on hand to help remove unwanted hairs and to exfoliate skin. The only changes I would make would be to increase the size of the body exfoliator, so I could exfoliate a larger area in a shorter amount of time, and I would also replace the massager with a facial exfoliator. I did not find the body massager to be beneficial at all and I think a facial exfoliator would be more useful to users than a body massager.
Pros: easy to set up and operate, exfoliator head removed dead skin cells well.
Cons: massager was not useful, epilator was a bit painful.

I received a free sample of the Philips Prestige Epilator to review and I would like to share my results. The overall product design is well thought out and easy to handle and interchange the attachments. There is a good assortment of attachments to choose from as well. I found them all easy to switch between both wet and dry. Being able to use the epilator dry or wet is a definite plus. the epilator charges fast and holds the charge for a few uses in between. I found that hair needs to be at least a 1/4` long in ordeerf or the epilator to grab the hair enough to remove it. A few pass overs are required for a smooth effect. Seems to take a bit longer than just shaving the hair. Because this unit has multi attachments, I would recommend this model for it`s versatility
Pros: multi functional
Cons: hair must be a certain length to work efficiently
