Smooth!!

I love the Philips Satinelle Prestige Epilator ! It was fully charged when it arrived. I would have never thought something so pretty would be so easy to handle! It can be used in and out of the shower however I found it to be most effective right after I get out from a hot shower. This epilator is very lightweight and easy to use. It is rechargeable and there is no cord getting in the way while I`m using it. It comes with several attachments which are very useful and an added bonus. It takes off a lot more hairs a lot faster, making the whole process faster as a whole so that`s another plus. What I noticed was, compared to my old epilator; this one takes out longer hairs without breaking them. I found that my legs are much smoother after I use my Philips.
Now for someone who hasn`t used an epilator before, the initial first sensation may be a bit hard to stand. This gets easier as you become comfortable with the product. The device is cleaned easily and is easy to hold and has a nice grip, Please read instructions thoroughly before using. It definitely is more painless than other models I have used in the past. I am very pleased with this product. It is a very effective machine and it works great.

I was so excited for the opportunity to try out the Prestige Epilator. I`ve used several Epilators in the past, so I am not a stranger to epilatinf, however this one surprised me. I was a bit intimidated by the lengthy instructions (which are totally necessary, seriously read them) and all of the additional accessories included with this. Because I received a free sample of this Epilator I felt it was important to give it a full try. I loved that it holds the charge for at least 40-50 minutes l, the two separate speeds are amazing, and the led light is seriously amazing. It helps to highlight the hairs so you don`t miss them.
I used this on legs, bikini area, and underarms. I will say that the sensitive area attachment as well as the shaving attachment are spectacular additions for both bikini area and underarm. If you plan to Epilator a sensitive area absolutely use Themis attachment. I shaved first with the shaving head then used the Epilator head and I was happy with the results.
Overall the curve was a new thing for me, and it is great for my legs but not so great for other body areas. The wet/dry ability is spectacular and if you are new to epilators then use it in the shower for slightly less pain. After the second or third time it does hurt less! Hold it at a 90 degree angle to your skin and go very slow to ensure you get the hairs. Hold skin taunt and you will get good results. It may take several passes to get totally smooth.
I`m so happy with the epilatir. All of the attachments made perfect sense after a few times reading through directions and it comes with a great carrying case too! I`m very pleased with this and would only reconsider the curve if I had to suggest improvements.

Pros: lots of tweezers for fast removal, led light, long battery life, wet/dry function, great attachments for all purposes
Cons: curved so it misses some hairs

I received the eipilator as a free sample and I`m happy with how it worked. I like that it has so many features and attachments with the product. It worked as expected for the removal of hair on certain areas. I was surprised and really liked the exfoliator attachment. It felt so good on the skin and I felt my body was being properly exfoliated. I also like the massager attachment too. I will defintely recommend to purchase this product to my friends and family, it can be used in multiple ways.

Versatile epilator

I received the Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator in exchange for my unbiased review. Overall, I was satisfied with the product. It has an easy grip handle for use which I liked. It has several useful accessories included for shaving, massage and exfoliation. One thing I did not like is the curved edge of the head which makes certain areas harder to reach and I found I didnt have a close shave in all areas I used the product. Also I found it odd that it takes. an hour and a half to charge and then you only get 40 minutes of use before you must shave again. However, I did find the epilator gentler than others I have used in the past. It is great to have the option to shave with wet or dry skin. I recommend this product to others.
Pros: comes with various accessories, for wet and dry skin, easy grip
Cons: uneven shave at times

I received the Phillips Epilator free, to use and review. I have used other epilators before, so I was very cautious. I do have to say though, that as soon as I opened the package, I loved the way it looked. A beautiful high quality look. It fit great in my hands and had a good weight to it. Very easy to maneuver. It also had several heads that are easily interchangeable. I haven`t used them all but I can`t wait. This epilator really works. I`ve used it twice. Once in the shower and once out. I had smooth legs for almost an entire week, which is super convenient. Makes my morning shower much quicker since I don`t have to shave my legs. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing an epilator. Try it... you`ll love it!!!

I was asked to test a epilator product. Initially I did it because I thought it might be fun and because I was told that I would get to keep the product after the test was completed. I never expected the kind of quality and efficiency I received from this product. It seems most of the issues I had with other epilators were solved with this product. One thing that bothered me about other products was that you would pretty much be using the same head for every bodily area. I was not thrilled about that but with this epilator it comes with different heads so you are not restricted to the same one. I like that. I think its much more suitable to women to have that extra. I think its a great product and a great gift.
Pros: i love how the handle fits my hand perfectly.
Cons: i don't have anything negative to say about it.

Garbage motor - do not buy

I had used the Satinelle Epilator less than 6 times when the rotator head would no longer rotate. Poor design and quality. Disappointing as the last Epilator I owned lasted over 10 years and I replaced for looks only - still functioned perfectly. I had higher expectations from Philips with this newer version.
Pros: looks good
Cons: rotator head sticks, rotator head breaks, product doesn’t function as advertised

Great accessories

I’m writing this review to tell you to save your money. This literally just pulled at my hair & never actually plucked them. Such a waste of money & my time. I literally only use the scrubber & massager.
