Great Multi-function capability

Overall, I really like the product. I like the multi-functional capabilities. The massaging and exfoliating ability really made this product a plus for me. I was sent a free sample of this product to use for this review.

A Must Have!

I was pretty excited when I opened the box for this epilator! It comes with so many attachments! Trimmer, epilator, exfoliater and massage head! I followed the instructions and was pleasantly surprised.. I let my leg hair grow about a quarter inch and put the epilator to work. This product definitely pulled from the roots and it didn't feel great! The discomfort though was tolerable and I took the time to complete both legs.

This is an inexpensive alternative to waxing if you're willing to spend the time to do this. I'm all about pinching a penny without sacrificing beauty. I would purchase this product without hesitation and now consider this one of my many beauty staples.

Way to many features and hard to understand.

I received a free sample of this Philips Satinelle Prestige Epilator to review. My feelings on this product are by no means influenced by this.
After receiving this epilator I was excited to begin using it. I have an epilator and use it on a monthly basis for removing excess hair on face and body, so getting to use a new one was going to be an adventure. First off, the instructions were very hard to understand and long. There were many attachments and not very much info on what to use for what. I tried for several days to re-read and understand the instructions and even had my husband read and see if he could explain the directions to me. Not much better at that than I. I finally gave up and just decided to start using the different attachments and see what worked. I found a couple that I liked and will stick with those. This epilator worked pretty good although I think it has way to many pieces for my liking. I don't need something that gives me a massage. Husband does that! Thank you Philips, next model please make a bit more simple.

This product has great accessories

I received a free sample of a wet and dry epilator. I absolutely love it! I have been using an epilator for years and this sample is so much more gentle and all the attachments that come with it are a plus. I will be using this one from now on.
Pros: it was gentle to the skin

Wet & Dry Epilator is so useful!!!

I received a free sample of the Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator- Bre650 to review and liked the product overall, though there was one important factor that I feel could be improved.
The epilator has so many different functions and can be used in both a dry and a wet setting. This is definitely a bonus for those of us who like take care of business while in the shower and/or bath. My two favorite features of this product are that there is a body massage head, which feels so glorious to use. There is also an exfoliation brush is also a nice an addition. The epilator works well and manages to remove hair in a gentle and effective manner. The handle is easy to grasp and I like that it is portable, comes with a bag and I can take it with me when I travel. I definitely recommend this epilator!
While I have used an epilator before and I know the basics of using this type of product, for someone who has never used one before, trying to figure out how to get started using it could be a daunting process. The instructions are quite overwhelming, and there is so much to understand for a novice. It can be quite confusing. I feel that including a simple, step-by-step (getting started page) may help ease the overall hesitation in wanting to get started using the epilator.

I received a free sample of this epilator to review and I was moderately impressed. It has so many great features that can make life easier if you took advantage of them. the massage, exfoliate, and of course shaver. Personally, I only used it to remove unwanted body hair. To use the accessories it is kinda tricky, because they have to lay on a certain exact way, so be mindful of that. It is not a simple snap on. I really like the add-on piece for hair removal. It acts as a guard so you won't get nicked too bad, which I love. I have thin hair on my legs so I don't have to shave too often anyway so I need all the protection I can get. I tried this Epilator both dry and wet, and both yielded good results. Although the wet process was better, my skin was softer so less painful. Overall, I think the pain outweighed the desired outcome. Some parts of my legs were okay, but when I got to the bone area OUCH! Possibly an user error, but it was not pleasant. Maybe the epilator can have a more curved shape so it won't hit my bone so hard next time I shave. Needless to say, I am going to try again because I know the pain subsides and it will cut down on my weekly shaving. I would recommend to my friends for their personal hygiene routine.

I received this product as an incentive for agreeing to write a review. The Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator is a wonderful product. I was very impressed with the way it worked. There was some discomfort at first, but it went away very soon. I was then left with the smoothest, most perfect hair removal experience I have ever had. I have used it a couple of times and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a more permanent hair-removal solution.

Easy to use, effective at leg/underarm hair removal

I received the Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator as a free sample in exchange for this review and I am pleased with it. I have been using epilators for years and find this model to be on the higher end of the ones I have experience with. The packaging was secure, but easy to open. I was surprised by the variety of attachments that were included, but there was very little effort required to change them. I charged it overnight (far longer than required) and found it very easy to turn on/off and change speeds. I used the device in a dry setting to remove hair from my underarms, legs, and bikini line. For my underarms, the epilator was extremely effective. It removed all the hair and was pain-free. For my legs, I found it to be useful and pain-free, but not completely effective. Though I had to perform several passes over each section of hair, the device was really great at removing my longer/softer/thinner hairs. It did leave behind my shorter/coarser/thicker hairs. These hairs required several more passes, but many were still not removed. For my bikini line, I found this device to be the least effective. Due to the shape of the plastic casing around the epilator attachment, it was difficult to use on a non-flat surface (such as the crease between my leg and bikini area). The only other negative aspect is the light on the the epilator. This is probably just my own personal preference, but I felt that the light made it easy to see what was directly in the path of the device, but extremely difficult to see the rest of my leg. My problem with this is that I could not tell which areas needed to be passed over again. Overall, I think the Prestige Wet & Dry Epilator is a good product. I would recommend it to a friend and would most likely purchase it if the price is reasonable.
Pros: ease of use, ability to remove fine hair, minimal discomfort
