[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WK7 LG ThinQ® Speaker with Google Assistant Built-In was so fun to try and use. My kids and I had a blast setting this up and trying it out. First, the google home app downloaded nice and quick, I wasn't sure I had a gmail account, but it popped right up, turns out my LgG5 cell phone has my gmail programmed into it. Setting up the Speaker was pretty simple, the instructions were very easy to read and understand. Once hooked between my phone, to the wifi, to the speaker... we had sound. :) the sound from the speaker was crisp and could go loud down to soft, for a nice room ambiance. I cant wait to use this with our Christmas Music. The speaker itself was a nice size and wasn't an eyesore. I put it on a shelf in the living room, and you couldn't even tell it was there. Black is a very nice color. We are super impressed, it makes us want to go out and buy all smart appliances.

Wonderful sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great speaker with awesome sound! I love the fact the Google Assistant is built-in. One of my favorite features of the speaker is that I can sync it to my smart home devices. I keep this speaker in my kitchen and I make phone calls as I'm cooking dinner or add items to my to do list. This speaker definitely helps me multi-task.

Randomly switches off...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little speaker and the kids love it, but just keeps randomly switching itself off, constantly which is really annoying. To make things worse, every now and again it will spring back in to life - not great when everyone is in bed.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paperweight as of 2025

Wk7 will not setup with Google home as of 2025. Support denies any issue. Apparently a software update is not available as per internet sources. “Please log in with Google home app” this no longer works. LG will likely not release a fix.
