[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have loved this put together engine since they opened it on Christmas morning. It really teaches kids how the engine works on a level they can understand. I'm looking for other machines like this for them to build. It's a great steppingstone to the real thing!

fascinating family project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Christmas gift for 10 & 13yo, it was a fun family project putting it together. The gears and parts are all in clear plastic or exposed to show the relationship of the different components. There were several steps that proved difficult for the kids which made this a family project with dad instead of kid-only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love putting things together! Legos, puzzles, Transformers... so when I saw this I knew it was going to be great! Finally something the kids could put together that also TAUGHT them! It’s great basic information for how energy is created in an engine. It was easy to assemble and the kids did most of it on their own. I love the functionality of it. This is a unique and well thought gift to give this holiday season! I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a great learning tool. My husband is very into cars and it was so fun for him to teach our son about the engine and how it’s put together and tell him all the parts. My son loved putting it together and had a blast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Model Engine Kit is a great educational toy. Starting from putting together the engine (comes with lots of parts - so putting the engine together is a job in and of itself).
The engine helps young children understand the a basics of how a engine works.

I definitely reccomend purchasing if you have a little one that is wanting to learn all the great things that this can do!

We haven't quite finished building it, but we started it already. I may need other hands to help us with this. I can't wait to see when it's complete.
