[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model kit is for an engine. I like they it is clear so you can see the inner workings of the engine. This kit has a lot of parts, depending on the age/ability of your child you may want to help them out with assembly. This is a fun summer project for your kid that is interested in the workings of an engine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model engine kit is so freaking awesome! My son who is eight years old turning nine soon LOVED THIS. While this did take him quite a few hours, the directions are very clear and super easy to read. He only asked for help a few times!

A fun activity with my kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun set for me and my two girls 5 and 9 put together. It did take a couple hours over a couple days. Lots of small parts but the instructions are well written and easy to follow. In the end they loved how the engine actually was able to turn on. Definitely something they couldn't do on their own but they loved having an activity to do with dad and see how he gets to work on cars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

He says he wants to put cars together when he grows up & loves making things run. Overall i think it helps develop stem skills in young children in a fun & interesting way@

Learning experience, hard to follow instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In this day and age I think we are all a little spoiled. Everything we buy come with such clearly labeled packages and parts. From murphy bed (2 hrs) to legos (depends on kit, but usually an hour or less), every package and part is clearly labeled.
this engine should have been easy as pie, yet with non-clearly labeled parts, slightly confusing directions, after 1.5 hours we realized we had built it backwards...
not to mention all the tiny screws are in the same little bag!
Once it's built im sure it's gonna be great. but right now, we have to take everything apart...
on the plus side, the screwdriver is magnetized for keeping those tiny screws lined up!.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Educational and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very fun and educational kit that helped my son (and myself!) to better understand how an engine works. The instructions are fairly straightforward, and took my 12 year old and I about 2.5 hours to complete. The overall quality could have been a bit better- I found that the plastic was a bit thin, and some of the screws were difficult to tighten. There is also no on/off switch, and you need to put in and take out the connectors yourself. Additionally, it’s pretty loud when turned on. Though overall, we learned a lot from this project and were happy with the way it turned out when fully assembled.

Great project to work on for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market looking for something to occupy my son's time over these Summer months, he recently expressed interests in cars and I figured this would be a great project for him to work on. This is awesome as a great bonding experience between the both of us. There are a lot of parts and it can be overwhelming when the box is opened, but I would recommend keeping all of the parts and tools organized before beginning. The step by step instructions are easy to understand. We dedicated about an hour of work a night for a month or so to complete it and the end result was great. My son is 6 and so I took the lead when handling a lot of the steps, but I'm sure older kids could figure it out on their own with focus.

Cool engine model kits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I who is a car mechanic addict love this kits! It's help my daughter to understand name of several car parts. We do need to buy more glue for this kits but it's not a problem.
It takes several days to finished it cause we only can work it on the night.
It's really a cool thing to do especially for father and son/daughter.
I really recommend this engine model kits for gift and holiday activities!
