Fun family project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to try this as a fun project to do with our son because he loves cars and building stuff so figured this would be a fun learning experience and we definitely enjoyed it. I will say for starters while the ages are 8+ definitely think and the younger side of that might have issues putting together themselves even with two adults we ended up still mixing up pieces and have to go back and take it apart several times. Otherwise as working with a family it was definitely fun, we let our son sort the pieces and put in the screws with the little screw driver it came with, and we worked together to fit the pieces in. I also like that this had plenty of extra screws because they were so tiny they were easy to loose but they provided A ton of them for that reason. The directions were pretty easy to follow though I think if they labels the sides it would have made it slightly easier to follow because some of the pieces looks similar but then had to go back because we realized we put two pieces backwards but luckily if mistakes where made it was pretty quick to put it back together. My son was so excited to plug the lights and engines in at the end and he was super happy with the results of the engine it ended up working perfectly and he seemed to have a lot of fun putting it together with us for a fun family bonding time. Overall we were really happy with this despite a few issues on our end but this was super fun and would recommend.

Son loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three boys. One loves this so much. The other just watched him and found it to be quite fascinating. And my last son, does not care to do these types of learning. While it is nice to watch my son building it, I think it just really depends on the kid and what they like. But overall of the quality of this product, we highly recommend!

A Lasting Educational Impression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Discovery #MINDBLOWN Model Engine Kit with moving motor parts and LED Lights was a bonding and educational experience. This STEM activity opens so many doors to conversations about how engines work. The model kit was easy to assemble. It did have some challenges, but nothing we couldn't handle. The directions were easy to follow. The directions are on a poster-sized fold-out with simple sentences and detailed pictures. It does require some elbow grease for all the screws. It comes with everything you need except two double AA batteries. It also comes with a good amount of extra screws and two extra belts. Your kid will get a workout and a great understanding of how you have to move around an engine and all its complexities of hand-eye coordination. It's for ages eight and up. My child is a gifted six-year-old, and we assembled it with ease. It took us about four and half hours in total. It has over one hundred custom parts. It has a clear design, so you can see the engine in all its glory and how it works. You can watch the valves open and close, watch the crankshaft spin and the spark plugs light up. This four-stroke combustion engine assembly will be something that will make a lasting impression. It is a fun and educational experience.

Really cool stuff

Incredibly Educational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was mind blown how great this kids model engine was! I mean you literally get to build an engine in your home with your kid. It’s informative, educational, and gives you a sense of accomplishment while doing this for us as a parent and your child. I really thought this would be fun for me and my son but I had no idea how much enjoyment we’d get from it and the moment you plug it in and it works properly! Comes with everything you need and you can see through and learn how everything runs. I recommend to anyone looking to learn and explore new things.

Great educational toy

The project encouraged following directions and puzzle solving. Project was completed with minimum adult assistance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Grandson and I assembled this together. I, myself thought this was a very cool product. I like that it provides learning with fun. It was not extreamly difficult but also wasn’t too easy. It did take some thought and effort to make everything work appropriately. I highly recommend this product to all wanting a challenging build that is a lot of fun.
