[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model engine is a very educational project to do. It took my 13 year old grandson approximately 4 hours to put this together but he enjoyed it and he learned all the parts of the engine. This project takes time and patience. But the end results is awesome . The instructions are very detailed and very helpful in putting this together. This model is just like a real engine. It has a turning crankshaft, valves, and spark plugs and a rotating fan. The spark plugs have LED lights that's lights up. This comes with a magnetic screwdriver in case you drop the screws it makes it easy to grab hold of them. This project was really enjoyed by my grandson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest son had a great time build the engine. He was so excited when he saw the box and could not wait to get started building the engine and see if it would work. He was so excited to put the engine together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child has had so much fun working & building this motor! It’s very hands on and a very creative way to learn mechanics! It’s very easy and simple to follow the instructions of the build! I love how much it challenges my child to learn in depth while doing something that is hands on! Truly great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old is loving the challenge of building this engine set, but has told me the instructions are a little hard to understand on some steps. Overall a great learning experience. He said it's so cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a cute kit and I let my children use this for educational projects. I like things like this to teach children about different things and how to set it up. I enjoy playing with this to teach me something too

Fun - but complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The starting age range on this is 8 and I think that's a stretch for the average child. We're on the second day of putting this together with my 11YO son (who is very capable of putting together advanced building kits) me and my husband. The instructions are detailed but they are poster sized. An improvement would be to have a booklet format with more text and to have the bags labeled with what parts are inside - there are a LOT of parts. We're creatives, not mechanics, so your experience may vary. Overall, our son is enjoying it and is really excited to see it work but a few small tweaks on the packaging/instructions would really help it go more smoothly!
