Overall, a very good insert. Nice controls & remote controls. Lights work very well. Only thing is it is a little loud. Would be nice if it was some quiter.
LIGHT WORKS WELL BUT PRODUCT IS LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD AND ALREADY RUSTING.

Hello. Happy to hear you're satisfied with the way the light works on this unit. At the same time, we're sorry to know that you're dealing with rusting after a short period of time. We know this can be inconvenient and frustrating.
While most stainless steel appliances will be hard to stain, a more accurate way to describe this finish would be "Harder to Stain" steel. Steel is the largest single component of this finish, so it is still prone to rust.
We recommend using cleaners that contain Oxalic Acid (ex. Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser) as these will remove rust, tarnish, and small blemishes. Please only use liquid cleanser free of grit and rub in the direction of the metal grain lines with a damp soft sponge. We ask that you don't use scouring pads, powdered cleaners, or cleaners containing bleach as these products can scratch and weaken the finish. You can learn more about rusting troubleshooting here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16654
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We are always happy to help.
I used the GE adapter and it made installation really easy. My only complaint was the protective film over the stainless steel was difficult to remove (still on there in places). The actual vent fan was easy to install and is a big upgrade for me. I love it.
Product is efficient, quite and well constructed. Appearances are pleasant to your eyes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
