Works as expected. Only indication that it is a g.e. product is the owners manual, probably a good thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The vent hood has plenty of power to pull the steam or odors up and out. What impresses me most is the remote control. It keeps me from trying to feel for the buttons.

Although not installed very long and used just a little, I love the remote ( installation was inside a custom hood) and to reach the controls, I had to stand on my tiptoes. Light is bright, and the dimming feature us useful. Adjustable fan is great as well. Like I said, so far, so good!

Since my cooktop is gas, I always turn on my hood exhaust fan. Works like a charm. There are 3 speeds, with even a boost if I so desire. There’s a light function too. This is very handy to have when cooking meats.

Decent range hood

A pretty decent range hood but doesn't take out most of odors when cooking certain foods. I wish it was better in this aspect for sure. Love the remote control and different levels of fan speed as well as lighting.

Easy installation. Not sure how to get appliance paired to my phone. Remote has to be direct line of sight.
