Absolutely great hood!

This hood is sleek and functional. We love the hidden look. It also produces a lot of light and does a good job venting.

Well made, great features, really sucks

Installation was a bit of a project. The unit was quite a bit taller than the one that it replaced, so there was some additional duct work adjustments that needed to be made. However, once installed, it has great features, especially when paired with other GE appliances. The auto-on feature has been very helpful to place my wife at ease, given that we have a gas range and all of the recent press about gas appliances. Although rarely used on high speed, the hood has high volume capacity and clears out the cooking area, and room, quickly if needed. The filter system is simple to use and easy to clean out. The remote control feature is handy, but we tend not to use that much.

Hard to reach

This vent a hood is very difficult to reach and read the labels for a senior citizen. Came with a new house, I had no choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
