Really like our GE range hood

Best vent hood we ever had!

This product is no HVI certified as indicated

GE likely won't post my review, but here goes... If you live outside California, this is likely a good product. If you live in California, the inspector will not allow the installation because the fan is not in the HVI database (per California Title 24). I had to pull out the fan at a cost to me because of incorrect information in the spec sheet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had to pull this fan out of our house because my inspector said it is not legal to install in California. Something about the fan not being listed in an HVI database (like it says it is) which means it does not pass the California Title 24.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
