HDMI port developed a problem

I bought this product about a year ago and it has been fantastic — great dock for my macbook with all the ports I need, and it looks nice on the desk too. However, in the past few months my monitor (plugged into the HDMI port) has been glitching, flickering, and blacking out. Tested for about a week with another adapter and it worked fine. But with the belkin hub, the glitching etc is almost constant. I assume this is just a faulty unit, so I would still recommend this hub.
I would recommend this to a friend!
